Blue Hour · Visual Timer

See time as light.

A sun sinks toward the horizon as your timer runs, so you can feel how much is left without reading a number. Built kindly for ADHD and time-blindness, calm enough for classrooms and kids.

It is not that we have a short time to live, but that we waste much of it. SENECA
The almanac line: one quiet thought each dawn, from 412 lines of public-domain philosophy. No feed, no push, no hustle.

Raise the sun.

Drag the sun up to set your time, one minute to three hours, with soft detents you can feel. When it touches the horizon, time's up, gently. Prefer numbers? Tap the readout for a keypad.

The settling dusk.

As the last light falls, the sky deepens and the screen dims a few gentle stops. At zero: two slow breaths of glow, a soft haptic, an optional two-note chime. No alarm slam. Ever.

Blue Hour near completion: deep navy sky, the sun almost touching the horizon

The light follows you.

A Live Activity keeps the sinking sun on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. A Home Screen widget starts your usual timer in one tap, and Siri and Shortcuts can run it hands-free. A completion nudge is optional, and off by default.

The break is a sunrise.

Cycles is Pomodoro in Blue Hour's language: work while the sun sets, then watch it rise through the dawn until the sky returns to morning. Rounds are counted in little suns, never quotas, and the next one starts when you do. And for classrooms, one tap opens a wall-sized big display with presets from one to twenty minutes.
