The app
Blue Hour is a visual timer. It is provided free of charge, with every feature included. Use it as much as you like.
Tips
The tips available in Settings (Coffee, Lunch, Legend) are voluntary, consumable purchases processed by Apple. They unlock no content or features, and they are not refundable by the developer; refund requests go through Apple's standard App Store process.
No promises about time itself
Blue Hour is a timekeeping aid, not a safety device. Do not rely on it for medical dosing, industrial processes, or anything where a missed timer could cause harm. iOS may delay or suppress notifications under some system conditions.
The quotations
The daily almanac lines are drawn from public-domain works and traditional proverbs. Attributions follow common usage. If you believe an attribution is mistaken, write in and it will be reviewed for the next update.
Intellectual property
The app, its design, and its name are © 2026 Moses Smith. The bundled quotations remain in the public domain.
Warranty
Blue Hour is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from its use.
